Laura's Top 5 Favourite Pubs in Norfolk

1. Gunton Arms in Gunton – A traditional-style pub nestled in the countryside, where you’ll find wild deer roaming the grounds. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is perfect for a peaceful countryside escape.

2. The Stag in Salhouse – Known for having the best roast dinners in the area, this pub offers a menu full of variety. My personal favourite, aside from the roast dinners, is the chicken Caesar salad with chunky chips! They also host a quiz night every other Sunday of the month!

3. Water's Edge in Bramerton – The ideal spot for sitting outside by the river, enjoying fresh food in a laid-back setting. Plus, it’s dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along.

4. Rising Sun in Coltishall – Situated next to the river, where you can hire a canoe or go paddle boarding. With friendly service and delicious food, I’d recommend booking ahead to guarantee a spot! 

5. The Lodge in Salhouse – Offering a great menu selection, my favourite dish here is the crispy chilli beef with Asian salad & crushed peanuts. It's a cosy spot to enjoy a delicious meal and unwind with beautiful decor.
